The
shenanigans continued this week with D. After coaching him that it is okay
to hug girls but not kiss them at daycare, he walked into daycare to
find his little friend Charlotte waiting for him (with
a big smile on her face). He walked up and I overheard him say "Hi Charlotte,
can I tickle you?". She said "Yes!" and they proceeded to run away and
play.
Than as I was leaving another little girl's mother said "Hi are
you Damian's father?" Then proceeded to tell me about how her daughter
Reece told her and that "She had slept in D.'s bed at nap time". Apparently
the little girl's father was mortified! The story goes that they are
playing a bed swapping game in daycare at nap time and the kids all shuffle around
in each other's bed. I mentioned D. had been kissing another girl and
the mother was choked - "two-timing my daughter!" Funny times for
parents and kids these days.
And on the way home, D. announces to us "Do you know I'm almost 5." No son, you turned 4 last month, but I guess that's what he's telling the kids.
